Ewout Hoorn is a clinical nephrologist and professor of nephrology. His laboratory and clinical research focuses on fluid and electrolyte handling by the kidney and the relationship with human diseases such as tubulopathies, hypertension, and chronic kidney disease. He also coordinates the Erasmus MC Center of Expertise for Rare Kidney and Urinary Tract Disease.
